THE METHOD
Service. Precision. Clarity.
These principles shape every relationship at SHORE Longevity — how each engagement begins, how recommendations are formed, and what you can expect from every conversation.
THE APPROACH
Strength, movement, nutrition, recovery, and behavior are not separate pursuits.
They are parts of the same system, shaping your ability to travel with confidence, continue the work you value, remain active with the people you love, and live independently for as long as possible. Every engagement begins by understanding that system — your health, your movement, your lifestyle, your priorities, the demands placed upon you today, and the life you want to continue enjoying in the years ahead.
From there, SHORE Longevity develops a considered strategy that evolves with you. Recommendations are grounded in evidence, shaped by experience, and tailored to the individual — not by trends, algorithms, or one-size-fits-all programmes.
There are no quick fixes. No unnecessary complexity. No fashionable solutions searching for a problem.
Only careful assessment, thoughtful advice, and a commitment to helping you make consistently good decisions about one of life's most valuable assets: your health.
WHERE TO BEGIN
Before a conversation, a Baseline.
The SHORE Baseline is a free, structured self-assessment across all five domains. It takes approximately six minutes and produces a precise capability profile — giving both you and SHORE an accurate starting point before any conversation begins.
THE SHORE METHOD
How capability is built, from baseline to long-term performance.
01
Baseline — A full capability assessment across all five domains. The precise reference point every subsequent decision is measured against.
02
Design — A Protocol built specifically for you — your physiology, your schedule, your priorities. Not a template. A deliberately constructed plan.
03
Train — Structured, progressive coaching. Two sessions per week, in person on Sanibel Island. Load managed precisely. Adjusted continuously based on response and recovery.
04
Review — Every ninety days, a formal capability reassessment. Progress documented in writing. The Protocol refined for the next quarter based on what the data shows.
05
Maintain — The long-term phase. Sustaining and building on established capability across years. Durable, compounding physical capacity over time.
RESEARCH INFLUENCES
The method is evidence-led throughout.
None of this is improvised. It draws on a specific, deliberately chosen set of research traditions.
The framework for thinking about healthspan versus lifespan, and the role of the four primary causes of death in structuring a proactive approach to physical longevity. The emphasis on VO2 max, strength, and stability as the primary training targets.
Research on muscle fiber adaptation, strength and hypertrophy programming, and the physiological mechanisms of performance improvement. Particularly the work on training frequency, volume, and recovery requirements.
Rigorous application of the research literature to practical programming. The emphasis on progressive overload, protein requirements, and the distinction between what the evidence supports and what is merely popular.
Walker's work on sleep's role in recovery, hormonal regulation, and cognitive function is a significant influence on why SHORE treats recovery as a structural pillar, not an afterthought — sleep and rest quality are reviewed with the same seriousness as training load.
The foundation for safe loading principles, movement assessment, and the rehabilitation and strengthening of the spine under progressive training demands.
